Membership in Tulsa Alumnae Chapter is open to all SAI-initiated members who are living in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

Tulsa Alumnae Chapter local annual dues for active membership are $25 and need to be paid at the time of affiliation (information will be provided on where to send them). Local dues are paid yearly. Dues for associate membership (meaning you will not be able to vote at meetings) are $10. For questions about dues, please contact our treasurer, Sherye Halliburton.
To become an active member of Tulsa Alumnae Chapter, you must be in good standing with National Headquarters and join the Alumnae Association ($35 annual national membership).

Affiliating with an Alumnae Chapter after College
Many college-chapter graduates have questions about affiliating with an alumnae chapter after they graduate, but regardless of your situation or your decision to affiliate officially, if you are living in the Tulsa area we would love to stay in touch and to see you at our events throughout the year! Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to help you think about affiliating with our (or another alumnae) chapter:
Should I affiliate with Tulsa Alumnae Chapter when I'm only going to stay in Tulsa for a year or two? Should I wait until I settle down and then affiliate with a chapter there?
Ultimately, that decision is up to you. However, even if you are going to be in Tulsa for only a year or two, we would love for you to affiliate with our chapter for that time.
If I am living in the Tulsa area but am yet not affiliated, what events can I attend?
Even if you are not affiliated with our chapter, you are welcome to attend any of our meetings and events. In fact, doing so can be a great way to get to know our members before you make the decision to affiliate! We understand that life gets busy, and even if you only make our events sporadically we would love to see you and stay in touch!
What is the commitment expected for alumnae members in the Tulsa Alumnae Chapter?
Our alumnae chapter meetings are held less frequently than college chapter meetings—we have a meeting or event once a month except during the summer months. In addition to our formal and informal meetings which take place in September, October, and January through May, we have fundraising events in November and during Mayfest in the spring, caroling in December, and a Membership Brunch in August. We rely on the members of our chapter to volunteer at our meetings to perform in our musicales and to help with hostessing, but these duties are spread throughout the year across our membership and thus are relatively light. In addition, if it has been a while since you've performed music or you're not sure about volunteering to perform, there are other ways you can get involved in our program, including group ensembles and talks.
Is there an event I can attend to find out more about Tulsa Alumnae Chapter and affiliating?
Yes! Every August we hold a Membership Brunch, which is a great opportunity to get to know our members and to preview our plans for the upcoming year. It is also a good time to sign up for committees, musical performances, hostessing, or other areas in which you would like to be involved. Even if you don't make it to our Membership Brunch, though, we would still love to see you at our other events throughout the year.
